Services
Technical SEO services
Technical SEO services from Muhammad Zubair Akhtar are implementation work: website structure, which URLs belong in the index, and how the public site is organized for crawlers.
He is a Senior Software Engineer in Lahore with 5+ years of experience, and he takes freelance technical SEO alongside the rest of his stack. A technical SEO audit on a live site looks at structure and at URLs that should leave the index.
People searching for a technical SEO consultant or a technical SEO expert can reach him directly. The service description on this site is technical SEO implementation and website structure optimization, carried through deployment and maintenance.

What he does
Technical SEO implementation
Changes in the site itself: structure, canonicals, the sitemap, and the response a crawler gets for a URL.
Website structure optimization
Clear public pages, internal links, and a sitemap that lists the pages that should be indexed.
Technical SEO audit
A review of indexing and structure, followed by the implementation. Technical SEO audit services here are engineering work, not a score with no follow-through.
Process
A technical SEO engagement follows the same lifecycle as his other software work: Requirements, Architecture, Development, Integration, Testing, Deployment, Optimization and Maintenance.

October 2026 indexing cleanup on this site
In October 2026, zubairakhtar.com had spam URLs in Google's index. A Google Search Console export listed 249 indexed URLs. The legitimate sitemap at that time contained 7 portfolio pages.
The extra URLs were not pages he meant to publish. Patterns included /shopdetail/ paths, junk queries on the homepage such as ?b= and ?m=, and old slugs that do not belong on this domain.
The fix lives in the Next.js proxy and the index policy. A request that is not on the allowlist is answered with HTTP 410 Gone and an X-Robots-Tag: noindex header, before a trailing-slash redirect can turn it into an ordinary redirect. The allowlist is the same set of URLs the sitemap publishes. This page does not claim a count of URLs Google has dropped since the change.
- Search Console export: 249 indexed URLs
- Legitimate sitemap at the time: 7 portfolio pages
- Patterns: /shopdetail/, junk ?b= and ?m= queries, old slugs
- Response: 410 Gone and X-Robots-Tag noindex
